Physics-informed GAN

A generative adversarial network trained with a physics-based learning module to translate RGB images to the infrared spectrum. Our results set a new benchmark for this task across several metrics.

Goal: Fine-tune an open-source LLM taken from Huggingface to generate DXF files representing gear designs based on provided specifications. Progress: Dataset complete, ready to train.

Transformer Block Coupling

Quantified interpretation of transformer blocks in LLMs. Empirical evaluation of 38+ open source LLMs. Discovered positive correlation between coupling and generalization.

An ongoing project studying the attention mechanism in transformer architectures. Utilizing a dynamical system perspective, we study the behavior of input tokens as they flow through the model.

A CERN project focused on optimizing machine learning algorithms to determine the sensitivity of the DUNE detector to detect tau neutrinos.

Adaptive Numerical Integration

An algorithm for adaptive numerical integration of complex-valued functions over two-dimensional domains. Above is our algorithm operating at around a 10x speed reduction.
